Our September drive this year started out from a familiar spot--our Director who plans the drives also offers his home in the country as our starting place. The weather was very cool--in the 50s and overcast but our group was in high spirits for the event. We pulled a wagon this year and several members rode in style. I was one of them and very much enjoyed myself although it was a bit difficult to get many good pictures. We stopped at a favorite place--The Roadside Cafe in Whitestown, where we enjoyed a lunch of baked spaghetti.

Our club participates in Lebanon, Indiana's 4th of July parade every year so I decided to put some pictures of it on our site. Here is our club in the 2018 parade. It was miserably hot, so a big Thank You to all who participated!

I can almost say word for word what I wrote for last year's drive. The club had a beautiful drive through the country on September 2, 2017. We left from the same member's home as last year and followed the same route for a little way, as you can tell from the pictures. The old car is still sitting where it was and I found the red barns to be picture worthy again. We had perfect weather, 16 tractors on the route, and a wonderful police escort. Folks all along the route came out and waved. One of the people was a club member who could not attend the drive but was able to send me pictures of the tractors as they went by his house. The destination this time was the Roadside Cafe along Highway 32 where we enjoyed a wonderful meal before winding our way back through the country. I had a great time and hope you enjoy the pictures below.

It has been quite awhile since I have been able to post some pictures of a tractor drive. Our club has had some spur-of-the moment ones that I have not been able to attend, so you will just have to believe me that members have had some fun these last couple of years driving through the country and stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. This drive on September 3, 2016, we left from a member's home, followed country roads with the help of a police escort (thank you Boone County and Sheridan police!) and ended up at a Mexican restaurant in Sheridan. The weather was absolutely perfect! We had 14 tractors in the ride and 24 people at the restaurant. It was a lot of fun seeing how many people came out of their houses to wave at us and take our pictures. It somehow felt patriotic. I hope you enjoy the following pictures of the event.

Here are some pictures of 2012 and 2013 tractor drive through the country to North Salem, where members of our club and the Montgomery County tractor club enjoyed lunch at Perillo's Pizzaria. Afterwards, they drove to Jamestown where they participated in Jamestown's Homecoming parade before returning to the Noltings'. It was a very nice drive and the weather both years was perfect. We hope to have more participate in 2014!

We display tractors during the 4H Fair at the Boone County Fairgrounds in July. This drive is from the 2012 Fair and members left from the fairgrounds and proceeded to Whitestown, where the drivers stopped for lunch at the LA Cafe.

Here are some pictures showing our spring 2012 tractor drive. Tractors started from the fairground in Lebanon and drove through the country, stopping for lunch at the Country Market Cafe on Hwy 421. After a delicious fried chicken dinner, they drove through the town of Whitestown on their way back to the fairgrounds. The drive was open to anyone with an antique tractor and we enjoyed the company of Montgomery and Hendricks County Antique Tractor Club members and friends.
